Construction under way at frac sand site in Weyerhaeuser

The future frac sand drying and rail loading site of Canadian Sand & Proppants is now under construction on the northeast side of Weyerhaeuser. The company hopes to have the plant completed later this year. The operation will be supplied by a sand mine now operating along Hwy. 8 in the Town of Sumner.
