Firefighters' Ice Fishing Contest raises more than $20,000

Approximately 625 people gathered for the 18th annual Chetek Firefighters' Adult and Kids Ice Fishing Contest, which raised more than $20,000 this year, according to Chetek Fire Department Chief Joe Atwood.

The more than successful event took place on Pokegama Lake Saturday, Jan. 21, as hundreds of families and friends gathered for a sunny day of fishing and fun.
