POLL: Do you support the Chetek Police Department getting a new K9?

The Chetek Police Department has proposed acquiring and training a new K-9, and training officer Tyler Blair as the dog's handler. Blair said the dog was a deterrent for illegal drugs and crime, and offered the officer valuable backup. The $85,000 in upstart costs and $7,000-plus in annual costs could be funded by community donations, Blair suggested.
