1:45 a.m. Man on Beagle Street says a car is parked in front of his residence and there are foot tracks in his yard. A man started walking toward his car. Caller told the man the cops had been called and the man walked away. 1:54 a.m., officer is out with four juveniles at Bird and Woodard streets. 2:05 a.m., juveniles snuck out and the officer will try to contact the parents. 2:19 a.m., officer is transporting two juveniles to an address.

7:18 a.m. Man in Chetek says a woman is not doing a child exchange. Woman was contacted and stated that she opened a child abuse case in Chippewa County.

11:04 a.m. EMS paged to a nursing home for breathing problems.

12:14 p.m. Rural Chetek caller says a man came to her door with a card saying he was deaf and wanted to do some work for food. She said she did not have anything for him. He left. 12:21 p.m., Chetek officer knows the man. He was told not to do this and becomes agitated when confronted. 2:32 p.m., caller says the man is walking on CTH I. 2:58 p.m., deputy spoke to the man and family. He is back home.

12:43 p.m. Rural Chetek man says someone broke into his storage trailer and a tool shed. He is missing a 20-pound propane cylinder, fishing rods, a backpack and an electric bike. Deputy advised.

3:16 p.m. EMS paged to a Chetek nursing home for a sick person.

5:11 p.m. Tipster claims the bars are overrun with cocaine and they are being protected by the Tavern League. Tipster says the bartenders are drunk most of the time and laugh about running from the police after work.

5:40 p.m. Chetek officer says a man has not appeared at the police department for five days and will be charged with bail jumping.

6:23 p.m. EMS paged to Dallas Street for woman who is having leg cramps and cannot drive.

Tuesday, Nov. 26

4:38 a.m. EMS paged to Cameron for a 65-year-old woman who is unconscious at this time. 4:48 a.m., caller says the woman stopped breathing. He is unable to do CPR. 4:54 a.m., helicopter landing at Living Water Church. 5:05 a.m., CPR in progress. 5:34 a.m., medical examiner requested. 5:36 a.m., funeral home contacted.

7:32 a.m. Cameron man is having problems with a neighbor’s dog. 8:15 a.m., he was advised to get a restraining order.

8:09 a.m. Cameron man fell a few weeks ago and is now in pain. 8:37 a.m., en route to Rice Lake.

8:27 a.m. Dallas woman is having a hard time walking. EMS paged. 9:17 a.m., en route to Bloomer.

9:25 a.m. Chetek caller says her roommates came home intoxicated and they are fighting. 9:47 a.m., subject has a probation warrant. 9:58 a.m., two people are in custody. Other subject has several open cases. 10:17 a.m., at the jail.

10:48 a.m. Tipster says a Chetek man may have a gun in his residence. He has a child abuse injunction prohibiting possession of firearms. Deputy advised.

11:34 a.m. Walworth County requests a family death notification be made to a man in New Auburn. 12:35 p.m., notification was made.

2:36 p.m. Loose pig in rural Cameron. 3:31 p.m., no one will claim it. It is on 13-5/8 Avenue.

4:34 p.m. Chetek store says a 39-year-old woman who gave plasma today is feeling cold and clammy. EMS paged.

6:18 p.m. Cameron woman says she left her residence because her boyfriend was being destructive and violent. They got into an argument before she left. 6:42 p.m., deputy will be with the woman. Other deputies are en route to see the man. 6:45 p.m., man is in custody. 7:03 p.m., charges of criminal damage to property and domestic disorderly conduct. En route to jail.

8:04 p.m. Dallas caller says his wife passed out and is not breathing. EMS paged. 8:11 p.m., helicopter paged. 8:19 p.m., helicopter cannot fly due to weather. 8:57 p.m., medical examiner requested. 9:35 p.m., funeral home contacted.

10:27 p.m. Chetek officer trying to locate a man on a warrant. 10:41 p.m., no locate.

Wednesday, Nov. 27

2:23 a.m. Cameron caller says he was arguing with his grandma and slamming doors. The man was now outside and banging on the door. 2:40 a.m., caller says everything is fine and she does not want the police to come. She got angry when she was told someone must check on her. 3:11 a.m., deputy says no crimes have occurred and the caller is leaving.

9:45 a.m. Chetek caller keeps getting scam calls about social security. Logged for info.

11:02 a.m. Chetek caller wants to talk to the Department of Natural Resources about a raccoon killing her neighbor’s chickens.

11:04 a.m. Man says he went to check on his mother-in-law and found her in the basement deceased. There are 6–8 inches of water in the basement. 11:31 a.m., utility will pull the meter. 1:15 p.m., funeral home requested.

1:13 p.m. Elderly man in Chetek was shoveling and started having chest pain. EMS paged. 1:22 p.m., CPR in progress. 1:32 p.m., helicopter paged. En route to Chetek airport. 2:17 p.m., medical examiner requested. 2:45 p.m., en route to the funeral home.

2:21 p.m. Subject in Chetek lost a wallet. 2:29 p.m., Chetek police have the info.

4:59 p.m. Chetek caller says she got out of jail and her roommate stole her belongings. 5:56 p.m., landlord is having problems with both parties and is going through the eviction process. The woman is leaving for the evening.

7:18 p.m. Chetek man says there is a man who he does not want talking to his wife. 7:35 p.m., subject is getting some belongings to leave for the evening.

10:16 p.m. Out with a vehicle with a different plate in Cameron at the Senior Citizens Center. 10:20 p.m., wrecker requested. Drugs found inside vehicle. 11:19 p.m., vehicle will be held until someone claims the drugs in the car.

Thursday, Nov. 28

7:19 a.m. Chetek officer says a woman reports she woke up this morning and her husband was gone. He left in a van rented from the Minneapolis-St.Paul airport. She is not sure if he is on his medication. 7:43 a.m., officer checked the area and did not see the car. 8:45 a.m., man called his wife and said he was stuck in the ditch last night and a hunter pulled him out. He is returning home.

9:31 a.m. Woman in Cameron says a man has not arrived for a child exchange. 10:37 a.m., man called and said he thought it was at 10 a.m. Woman is willing to do it at 1 p.m. Man was upset she was not communicating via the app and he was advised to contact the courts.

3:10 p.m. Chetek man says people who rent from him have stolen a kayak rack, a battery charger and more. Deputy advised.

Friday, Nov. 29

9:02 a.m. Clinic says a woman in Dallas was bit by a feral cat. She is feeding the kittens. 10:07 p.m., quarantine order for the cat was issued.

9:25 a.m. EMS paged to Rusk County for a man who keeps passing out.

11:17 a.m. Traffic stop in Chetek. Tow requested.

12:18 p.m. Chetek man re quests EMS. He has leg pain and is not able to walk.

2:10 p.m. Cameron towing company says a man is there to get his truck and trailer. He is not allowed to because he no longer has a job. The man is in the truck. 2:28 p.m., there was a miscommunication. Man was allowed to pay the bill and take the truck.

7:01 p.m. Cameron woman says a teen took off for Danbury and she cannot reach her. 8:10 p.m., teen was contacted but refused to say where she was. Officers were advised of the situation.

7:06 p.m. Man fell in Chetek. 7:14 p.m., lift assist requested.

9:31 p.m. Rural Chetek caller says a property was broken into. She thinks a TV may have been taken. 10:16 p.m., another property nearby was also broken into. 11:03 p.m., owner will look to see if anything was taken.

Saturday, Nov. 30

2:35 a.m. Woman in Cameron says she got into a fight with her sister. She is not injured. 3:20 a.m., officer says a man will leave for the weekend.

4:49 a.m. Cameron gas station says there is an active domestic going on. A man tried to choke a woman. 4:54 a.m., woman says the man showed up to her residence and she gave him a ride back to the gas station when he began hitting her. 5:02 a.m., en route to the woman’s residence to check and see if the man is there. She does not know where he might have gone. 5:24 a.m., man is not at the residence. He can be arrested for domestic battery, strangulation and bail jumping.

8:09 p.m. Tipster says a man in Cameron is intoxicated and is on a no-drink order. 8:21 p.m., man does not have any open cases or a no-drink order. Does not meet requirements for a check.

11:20 p.m. Chetek caller says there are four men in the house with guns. Two are cops. He says all are bleeding with wounds. 11:44 p.m., caller has mental disorder. Other man arrived and will make sure the caller is okay.

Sunday, Dec. 1

1:41 a.m. EMS paged to rural Cameron for a man having breathing and stomach problems. 2:40 a.m., EMS intercepting.

2:44 a.m. Cameron officer says there is a car blocking the road and hit a tree. 2:48 a.m., officer says it now looks like the tree fell from the snow. 3:19 a.m., wrecker is stuck and another rig is coming to help them.

9:59 a.m. Chetek caller says she is having a problem with trespassing hunters.

11:58 a.m. Deputy says a man reported a man is lost in the woods near Cameron. He does not have good cell service. 12:51 p.m., man’s father said he had brief contact with him. They can hear him yelling so they have a good idea of where he is.

7:35 p.m. Dunn County says a woman wanted for arrest may be staying with a man in Chetek. 9:04 p.m., deputy has the woman in custody. En route to jail.

11:35 p.m. Chetek caller says a neighbor is not shoveling his part of the sidewalk. Officer will follow up.

Monday, Dec. 2

12:43 a.m. Cameron caller says a van is sitting near her address. 1:36 a.m., man is in custody for OWI restriction and possession of meth.

9:22 a.m. Chetek man says he was involved in a fight with a man. 9:57 a.m., man wanted a deputy to speak to the man about his behavior. He will also be working to have the man evicted. 11:56 a.m., deputy spoke with both parties.

9:31 a.m. Chetek towing company says a man is upset about his bill. It is a civil matter but he wants to speak to an officer. 9:46 a.m., officer says the man was not happy with what she had to say and he hung up. 2:48 p.m., man was told he was not welcome there unless he was paying his bill.

10:28 a.m. Deputy is attempting to locate a woman in Dallas. 10:44 a.m., no locate.

11:34 a.m. Deputy attempting to locate a person on a warrant.

12:05 p.m. Utility reports a person having CO poisoning symptoms. Chetek Fire and EMS paged. 12:17 p.m., it may be a faulty CO detector.

12:34 p.m. Caller says a dog bite happened in the county near Chetek.

4:06 p.m. Officer says there was a domestic in front of Cameron High School. 4:11 p.m., it was a dispute between a mother and a daughter. Nothing physical. 4:16 p.m., officer transported one to a residence.

7:29 p.m. Chetek caller says a man showed up at her residence and said he bought the property and they have until 12 p.m. on Tuesday to pay him $500 or they would be evicted. 7:54 p.m., officer is checking the area for a man. No locate.

8:26 p.m. Rural Chetek man says someone may have been in his house as items are missing from his refrigerator. He was told there were foot tracks around the house. He has removed an extra key he had outside.
