One man has died after a one-vehicle rollover in Rusk County. The Wisconsin State Patrol said a medical event may have led to the crash.

The state patrol and Rusk County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash at 3:58 p.m. on Monday, April 27, on CTH V near Marshall Road near Conrath, Rusk County.

The driver was found trapped inside the vehicle and deceased. The passenger in the vehicle said the driver went unconscious before entering the ditch and striking a tree, causing the vehicle to rollover. Alcohol was not a factor.

The deceased man was identified as Andrew C. Bentley, 49, of Sheldon.

The crash was being investigated by the state patrol.
