Felonies

Justin A. Siiter, 35, Barron, was charged Sept. 9 with possession of methamphetamine [July 29] and a summons was issued.

Marty A. Nichols, 52, Cameron, was charged Sept. 14 with three counts of bail jumping-felony and one count of misdemeanor operating while revoked [Sept. 12] and a signature bond was set at $1,000 with conditions to not drive without a valid license.

Dereck Peterson, 34, Rice Lake, was charged Sept. 15 with possession of methamphetamine [Sept. 14] and a signature bond was set at $2,500 with conditions to have no contact with Marketplace Foods in Rice Lake.

Eric C. Ewing, 56, Cameron, was charged Sept. 15 with possession with intent-THC (200 grams or less) (second and subsequent offense), maintain drug trafficking place (second and subsequent offense) and two counts of misdemeanor drug paraphernalia [Sept. 11] and a signature bond was set at $5,000.

Brentt G. Kuruz, 28, Rice Lake, pled guilty Sept. 4 to bail jumping-felony and forfeiture OWI (first) [March 8] and was ordered to eight months of license revoked, ignition interlock and 18 months or probation-sentence withheld with conditions of 80 hours of community service or 10 days of jail, costs of $1,505.50, must remain absolutely sober, alcohol assessment and must undergo any recommended treatments. Charges of resisting or obstructing an officer and operating with PAC (0.15 or less) (first) [March 3] were dismissed. Kuruz had charges of possession of THC (second-plus) and misdemeanor resisting or obstructing an officer [Feb. 13] dismissed but read in.

Gary R. Faught, 28, Rice Lake, had charges of failure to support child (120-plus days) [Jan. 1, 2018, and Jan. 1, 2019] dismissed on Sept. 4.

Raymond R. Clark, 66, Rice Lake, pled guilty June 16 to first-degree child sex assault-sexual contact with person under age of 13 [Sept. 13, 2019] and was ordered Sept. 8 to 15 years of state prison, 15 years of extended supervision with conditions of costs of $518, must have no contact with two subjects and any minors under 18 unless in the presence of an adult or guardian and must undergo any recommended treatments. Charges of two counts of repeated sexual assault of same child (at least three violations of first- or second-degree sexual assault), two counts of intimidate victim or threaten force, etc., two counts of exposing genitals to a child [Jan. 1, 2013], one count of exposing genitals/pubic area/intimate parts to a child [Sept. 13, 2019], first-degree child sexual assault-intercourse with person under 12, second-degree sexual assault of child, two counts of child enticement-sexual contact, two counts of intimidate victim/threaten force, etc. [Oct. 1, 2017], first-degree child sex assault-sexual contact with person under age of 13, child enticement-sexual contact and intimidate victim/threaten force, etc. [Sept. 14, 2019] were dismissed but read in on June 16.

Terrance E. Boswell, 27, Chetek, had probation for bail jumping-felony [Jan. 1, 2018] revoked on Sept. 9 and was ordered to 1.5 years in state prison and two years of extended supervision with conditions of costs of $1,001.80, must avoid alcohol and anywhere it is sold, must follow prescriptions for any controlled substances and must undergo any recommended treatments.

Misdemeanors

Michael L. Waterhouse, 66, Chetek, was charged Sept. 9 with resisting or obstructing an officer [Feb. 22]. Waterhouse pled guilty Sept. 10 and was ordered to pay costs of $831.

Richard A. Leuck, 41, Chippewa Falls, was charged Sept. 9 with OWI (second) and two counts of operate firearm while intoxicated [Sept. 9] and a signature bond was set at $2,500 with conditions to avoid alcohol and anywhere it is sold and to not drive without a valid license. Leuck was charged Sept. 10 with resisting or obstructing an officer and two counts of bail jumping-misdemeanor [Sept. 9] and a cash bond was set at $100 with conditions to avoid alcohol and anywhere it is sold.

Cleo O. McKinney, 24, Chetek, was charged Sept. 9 with two counts of bail jumping-misdemeanor [Sept. 4] and a signature bond was set at $1,000 with conditions to avoid alcohol and anywhere it is sold.

Matthew D. Gaede, 30, Chetek, pled no contest Sept. 11 to disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) [July 1] and was ordered to pay fines of $367.50. Charges of criminal damage to property (domestic abuse) and intimidate victim or dissuade reporting [July 1] were dismissed.

Kevin L. Swartz, 35, Chetek, pled guilty Sept. 9 to criminal damage to property and was ordered to pay restitution and costs of $659.30.

Kevin L. Swartz, 35, Chetek, pled guilty Sept. 9 to theft-movable property [Nov. 4, 2019] and was ordered to one year of probation-sentence withheld with conditions of 90 days in jail, costs and restitution of $3,237.15 and must undergo any recommended treatments. Charges of felony forgery-uttering (repeater) and misdemeanor bail jumping [Nov. 4, 2019] were dismissed.

Travis J. Thompson, 39, Cameron, pled guilty Sept. 9 to an amended charge of defamation [Sept. 3, 2019] and was ordered to one year of probation-sentence withheld with conditions of 15 days in jail, 120 hours of community service, costs of $443, must undergo any recommended treatments and alcohol assessment.
