7:05 p.m. Chetek woman says her daughter has cut off her ankle monitor. The on-call social worker asked police be advised. 1:17 p.m., officer says the daughter is at the police station. The social worker will be called. 2:19 p.m., the juvenile was dropped off at a residence.

8:39 p.m. Cameron man says his mother went to a tobacco store and an employee offered her some gummies that the employee claimed had THC. They came in baggies without labels. He called the store and the employee said they had THC in them. He would like an officer retrieve the gummies. 9:15 p.m., officer is testing the gummies. 9:58 p.m., officer says the gummies tested positive for THC.

Tuesday, May 25

12:45 a.m. Cameron woman says her boyfriend stole her car. She did not give him permission to drive it. 12:57 a.m., woman says they were about to break up. He took the car earlier and she was waiting for him to return before calling. 1:06 a.m., man says he is at work and will be home at 2 a.m. 1:17 a.m., woman says she no longer wants to press charges.

4:16 a.m. Chetek man says a car wash’s air compressor is keeping him up. The owners said they would close the garage door but it was left open. Officers will talk to the car wash staff in the morning.

5:38 a.m. Rural Cameron man says there are grass clippings in the road and it is hazardous to motorcycles. 5:46 p.m., man was told to contact his township for enforcement of the grass clipping ordinance.

8:31 a.m. Cameron woman has a dog bite. 9:28 a.m., woman was the dog’s owner. The dog will be quarantined.

9:44 a.m. Deputy requests a log entry for a tobacco violation at the New Auburn School.

12:52 p.m. Recreation deputy on Pokegama Lake has pulled over a boat. A man blew a 0.045 PBT. There are open intoxicants in the boat. 1:28 p.m., probation was contacted. Man has a warrant out of Eau Claire. He was able to post the $10 bond. 1:34 p.m., man will have to contact probation later. 1:41 p.m., man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

1:02 p.m. Deputy is handling a sexual assault case near Chetek.

1:10 p.m. Cameron officer says a woman claims a woman is taking her pills when she cleans her house.

3:37 p.m. A tree is down on Hwy. 53 near New Auburn. The highway department was notified.

4:04 p.m. Rec deputy on the north end of Prairie Lake cited a subject for underage alcohol possession.

6:25 p.m. Rusk County says a deputy is out with a van that tried to flee. It stopped on Hwy. 8, just across the Barron County line. 6:45 p.m., one man is in custody. 7:34 p.m., wrecker will tow the van.

7:09 p.m. Caller from a Chetek resort says his dad started chasing him, slammed his head into a wall and tried choking him. He is at the resort office. 7:55 p.m., man in custody for battery. Probation will place a hold.

8:22 p.m. Rural Cameron caller says a man is on his trail camera, trespassing. 9:41 p.m., deputy has the photos. He will try to talk to the man. 9:56 p.m., deputy spoke to the man and will be referring charges for trespassing.

Wednesday, May 26

7:49 a.m. Chetek EMS paged to a Chetek school for a man having a seizure. 8:10 a.m., en route to Bloomer.

1:01 p.m. Cameron man says people are trespassing on his property. He has photos of them. 4:16 p.m., deputy says it is a civil matter.

1:02 p.m. Deputy at Cameron school requests a log entry for possession of THC.

1:46 p.m. Chetek man says a dock floated up to shore. He could not remove it from the water and he is concerned a boat will hit it. He will try calling the Department of Natural Resources.

3:54 p.m. Man says he dropped his daughter off at a Red Cedar River landing and was supposed to pick her up in Cameron. She called to say her canoe flipped and it floated downstream. She is lost. 4:24 p.m., man called to say he found his daughter. She is fine.

6:27 p.m. Cameron nursing home says three people were involved in an altercation. They are in their rooms. Officer requested. 7:04 p.m. EMS paged to check out one of the subjects. 7:36 p.m., everything is okay. A report will be sent to social services.

10:58 p.m. Cameron man would like to see an officer about a video that is going around the internet. 11:28 p.m., officer says it appears to be just a rumor. He is not sure such a video exists.

11:23 p.m. Caller near CTH OO and 18th Street saw a car drive into the field. A man is walking east on CTH OO. He did not appear to be injured but smelled of intoxicants. 12:15 a.m., no locate on the man. Wrecker will hold onto the car for a statement.

Thursday, May 27

1:42 a.m. Chetek man says a man is beating up his girlfriend and is starting fights with everyone. Caller says the man wants to fight and someone will need to fire a shot. The caller does not have a weapon. Everyone is outside. 1:46 a.m., officer has stopped a car. 1:51 a.m., another unit is requested. There are two cars and they are not being cooperative. The man who was said to be fighting people is shirtless and bloodied. 1:55 a.m., other driver says she is someone’s mother and is there for protection. 2:03 a.m., man says he was the other party in the fight.

2:22 a.m. Caller says there are people outside yelling a few houses down the street. 2:32 a.m., Chetek officer says all the parties have agreed to stop fighting.

11:37 a.m. Chetek woman says she received some jewelry from a man and she thinks it may be stolen. Deputy will call the woman.
