12 a.m. Anonymous caller says there is a lot of “meth stuff” going on at a rural Chetek residence. Info will be forwarded to detectives.
9:33 a.m. Cameron man says an unknown person is trespassing and harassing him. He believes his phone has been tapped and people are coming onto his property when he is sleeping. There are holes in a window screen, a mess at his property and his keys are missing to his home and shed. 10:28 a.m., deputy will talk to the man.
12:22 p.m. Deputy is headed to New Auburn for a disorderly student at the school. 12:57 p.m., deputy is at the school. 1 p.m., en route to the jail with one in custody.
2:30 p.m. Woman says a pickup truck with the tailgate down damaged a car wash in Chetek. She wants to contact the truck owner. Truck driver says he was aware of the damage and was unsure of how to contact the car wash owner.
6:47 p.m. Deputy is talking online to a subject who says she is pregnant and her boyfriend beat her up. She may have a concussion. She said the boyfriend told her to kill herself. 7:03 p.m., the woman wants to speak to an officer in Chetek after she is done eating in Rice Lake. She said her boyfriend was at a residence in Chetek. 7:43 p.m., officer is meeting with the subject. EMS requested. 8:23 p.m., no EMS transport.
9:09 p.m. Woman in Chetek says a man followed her to her residence and is banging on her windows. She wants him served papers for a restraining order. 9:18 p.m., man was served a harassment restraining order. 9:26 p.m., man will move along. He was advised if he returns he will be arrested.
Wednesday, Oct. 2
9:13 a.m. Cameron caller says her grandchild does not want to go to school and made some remarks. 9:36 a.m., officer says the student is not being cooperative. 9:58 a.m., school was talking to the student. They will be at home for the day. Student did not want to harm themselves or anyone else.
12:14 p.m. Cameron officer says a juvenile was caught up on top of the old elementary school. 12:38 p.m., the child’s mother is en route to pick up the child. 2:02 p.m., the student had spray painted on the outside of the school.
2:02 p.m. Semi was smoking at Cameron gas station. It was not on fire. Assistance was coming from a repair shop.
Thursday, Oct. 3
5:47 a.m. Chetek caller says a woman stole her truck. Caller is unable to travel. Caller did not give the woman permission to take it. This is not the first time this has happened.
12:37 p.m. Callers says a subject tried to burn down the house. Gas is everywhere. Caller is outside. There is a history of this. EMS, Chetek Fire and sheriff’s deputies paged. 2:22 p.m., subject will be voluntarily admitted to the hospital. 2:44 p.m., at the hospital.
5:18 p.m. Carbon monoxide detector is going off in a Chetek house. 5:47 p.m., Chetek Fire found CO in the house. The resident will stay elsewhere and call a furnace repairman.
11:53 p.m. Man has chest pain. 12:02 a.m., helicopter paged. 12:10 a.m., en route to the Chetek airport for the helicopter.
Friday, Oct. 4
2:18 a.m. Traffic stop in Chetek. Field sobriety test. 2:31 a.m., subject in custody for OWI. 3:20 a.m., at the jail.
11:09 a.m. New Auburn woman says her son was being harassed by another boy and the boy kicked her son, leaving a mark. She said the boy had knives at school. 12:55 p.m., deputy spoke with a parent.
Saturday, Oct. 5
12:44 a.m. Traffic stop in Cameron. Field sobriety test. 1:17 p.m., woman passed the field sobriety test but her PBT was 0.109. Probation is not placing a hold. 1:23 a.m., drugs and paraphernalia were found. Probation is not placing a hold. 1:45 a.m., officer found meth. Probation will now place a hold. 1:52 a.m., woman is in custody and en route to jail.
1:51 p.m. Chetek man says his wife left him but a young child is still with him. He is concerned because she told him she didn’t think the child was safe, that she would go to a shelter and she would press domestic abuse charges against him. He is concerned about her state of mind at this time. Logged for info.
10:14 p.m. Deputies are out at Chetek resort for a probation violation.
10:28 p.m. Chetek caller says an intoxicated man is at a bar and is being belligerent. They would like him removed. 10:54 p.m., man was picked up by his wife.
11:17 p.m. Chetek officer is chasing a vehicle on northbound Hwy. 53. Speeds of 96 mph. 11:20 p.m., deputy is placing spikes at a crossover. Vehicle hit the spikes. Squad car also hit the spikes. 11:22 p.m., vehicle is pulling over near the Cameron exit. 11:28 p.m., tow trucks requested for both the squad and the vehicle. 11:51 p.m., en route to the hospital with the driver. 12:12 a.m., vehicle will be impounded. Squad will be repaired.
Sunday, Oct. 6
12:47 a.m. Cameron woman says her infant is not breathing. Her father is driving them to the hospital. 12:53 a.m., EMS met with the caller. 12:58 a.m., the baby is breathing. 1:38 a.m., officer will follow up with the woman. 2:34 a.m., social services is coming to the hospital.
2:32 p.m. Cameron caller says there is a problem at the old Cameron Elementary School. 3:06 p.m., subjects were advised to stay off the property or else face trespassing charges.
3:05 p.m. Woman requests a welfare check in a man near Dallas. He made suicidal comments to family and his girlfriend. 3:38 p.m., officer says he is in contact with the man and he said he is fine. He will speak to a n officer. 3:53 p.m., deputy says the man made suicidal statements but it is not known where he went now.
Monday, Oct. 7
12:46 a.m. Man near New Auburn says his horse broke off from his buggy and he would be looking for it.
11:52 a.m. Deputy at New Auburn school says there is an out-of-control student.
12:47 p.m. Chetek officer is en route to Chetek school for an out-of-control student. 1:17 p.m., en route to the police department.
