1:54 a.m. Caller at Stardust Theater says she hit a tree and her airbags went off. No injury. 3:12 a.m., family was picked up by the father and the car will be removed tomorrow.

9:20 a.m. Deputy requested a log entry for a sexual assault in New Auburn.

11:19 a.m. Caller on Hwy. 53 near Chetek says a speeding SUV threw something out of the window and hit his truck. No damage.

12:42 p.m. Man has a contempt of court charge for a child custody exchange issue in Cameron.

2:48 p.m. EMS paged to Chetek for a woman having trouble breathing.

5:06 p.m. Caller in Cameron says a van’s window was broken and may be a couple of kids in the neighborhood.

6:18 p.m. Woman in Cameron says she saw a funnel cloud about two to three miles northwest of Cameron. 6:23 p.m., officer did not see anything in the area.

10:09 p.m. Caller in Cameron says there is a vehicle in the wrong lane. 10:12 p.m., traffic stop. 10:33 p.m., subject in custody. Wrecker en route. 12:23 a.m., woman was picked up by a sober party.

Wednesday, July 22

6:25 a.m. Chetek caller says her 81-year-old mother has fallen. EMS paged.

8:36 a.m. Chetek woman says she has a restraining order against a man and he called her, used foul language and then hung up.

10:35 a.m. Caller says there is a woman walking on Hwy. 8 east of Cameron. 11:03 a.m., deputy transported the woman to Cameron. 11:26 a.m., they were trout fishing and the man locked his keys inside the car.

1:13 p.m. Cameron caller says he was making a delivery when a pickup drove off and a dog fell out of the truck. The caller has the dog. 5:29 p.m., dog was dropped off at Happy Tails.

7:17 p.m. Chetek woman says her husband, who she is separated from, showed up and began to harass her. She was advised to get a restraining order and to call if he causes more problems.

11:30 p.m. Caller says there was a crash at 30th Street and 14th Avenue. A man was near a car, waving his arms. He did not stop. 11:48 p.m., deputy says it does not look like there was a crash. Cameron Fire is not needed. EMS will look around. 12 a.m., car is fine where it is at. A message was left for the owner.

Thursday, July 23

7:31 a.m. Chetek EMS paged to rural Cameron for a woman having a seizure.

11:53 a.m. Chetek woman says her ex-boyfriend is not letting her get items out of the house. 12:19 p.m., woman is still waiting for an officer to respond. Officer advised.

12:52 p.m. EMS paged to rural Cameron for a man who has chest pain. He has had 13 heart attacks and nine strokes.

4:08 p.m. EMS paged to Cameron for a 25-year-old man who was stung by a bee in rural Cameron.

5:38 p.m. Caller says there is a kayak that is flipped over on Lake Chetek. People are wearing life jackets. 5:43 p.m., Chetek Fire says there is a pontoon out with the kayakers. Responders have commandeered a boat. 5:50 p.m., there are three kayakers. One is out of the water. Two are able to get back on their own. No EMS transport.

Friday, July 24

7:40 a.m. Chetek officer out for a fraud complaint.

8:39 a.m. Cameron woman says Trump sign was stolen from her yard last night.

9:37 a.m. Chetek officer is talking with a man who may have stolen a city garbage can. 9:50 a.m., the can was returned to the right owner.

10:14 a.m. Woman in Dallas says she wants to hurt herself. She would like help. She had a friend pick up her child. 10:31 a.m., friend says this is not normal and may be due to medications. 10:58 a.m., the woman’s sister will take her to the hospital. Crisis worker says it is likely a symptom of some anti-smoking medication and she is not suicidal.

11:08 a.m. Woman in rural Chetek took a bunch of pills and was drinking. She was throwing up and shaking. 11:53 a.m., the overdose was not a suicide attempt.

12:49 p.m. Caller says a Chetek woman took a bunch of pills and is wandering around Chetek. 1:17 p.m., officer did not see the woman. 1:21 p.m., caller says the woman is at her house and she does not want the woman there. 1:53 p.m., officer says the woman has left. She has nowhere to go.

2 p.m. Rural Chetek caller says a man was throwing things and punching walls. His girlfriend came to the caller’s house. 2:30 p.m., man is in custody. 3:04 p.m., Embrace paperwork was filled out and a no-contact order was enforced.

2:13 p.m. Hospital wants a man to contact them. 2:31 a.m., officer requested an ambulance respond non-emergency.

6:31 p.m. Rural Cameron caller says people were evicted several months ago. Random people are returning to the shed. 7:47 p.m., deputy says the owner is returning to feed stray cats.

8:09 p.m. Chetek woman says her brother-in-law is intoxicated and wants to drive. He is getting agitated. 8:43 p.m., everyone is separated. The caller will transport the man to Sand Creek. Dunn County deputies will meet the subject for a property exchange.

8:18 p.m. Chetek caller says her teenage son tried to sexually entice a younger girl. 8:36 p.m., woman called back and requested an officer immediately. 9:52 p.m., officer requests a social worker to call him.

8:49 p.m. Caller says a Cameron man took blood pressure medication and then passed out. EMS paged.

11:07 p.m. Traffic stop. 11:38 p.m., Cameron officer is transporting a man to his car that was reported stolen. 12:14 a.m., vehicle can be removed as stolen.

11:37 p.m. Chetek caller says there is an underage party at a location with 20 people there. There are people vomiting in a prairie. 12:37 a.m., deputy said a woman was the host.

Saturday, July 25

8:44 a.m. Cameron officer says a woman driving has chest pain. EMS paged.

11:10 a.m. Chetek caller says a 10-year-old boy was walking down the street and opened the caller’s mailbox. He did not take anything. 11:16 a.m., officer talked to the boy and he will not be opening any more mailboxes.

11:22 a.m. EMS paged to rural Cameron for an elderly woman with dementia who is not eating or drinking.

1:29 p.m. EMS paged to Chetek for a sick person.

4:18 p.m. Cameron woman requests an officer about a harassment issue. Her tires were slashed yesterday, and she keeps getting threatening text messages. 5:28 p.m., woman was advised to get a restraining order.

4:22 p.m. Dallas man says a vehicle drove onto the property and there was one gunshot. No one is around. 5:27 p.m., man’s brother was spoken to and everything was fine.

6:09 p.m. Cameron man says ATVs are riding on Main Street. 9:12 p.m., man was advised of the new ordinance.

6:48 p.m. EMS paged to Chetek for a woman who fell.

6:57 p.m. Chetek nursing home says a woman left on foot. She usually goes to Kwik Trip and was last seen an hour ago. 7:06 p.m., woman was found inside the building.

8:01 p.m. Rural Chetek caller says a woman in her 20s was in and out of unconsciousness. They were off-roading. Other parties are refusing to bring her to the hospital. She is vomiting. 8:12 p.m., caller says the woman is leaving. 8:22 p.m., deputy says this is an organized mud bogging event and the woman is intoxicated. 8:36 p.m., a large amount of alcohol was consumed. Nonreportable. Units are clear.

8:46 p.m. Cameron officer out on a drug complaint. 8:47 p.m., woman in custody. 9:07 p.m., woman in custody for possession of meth and THC.

9:45 p.m. Rural Cameron campground says a 15- year-old went running and has not come back yet. He has been gone more than an hour. 9:50 p.m., the boy returned.

9:46 p.m. EMS paged to Dallas for a man who is having chest pains and had a heart attack last Sunday. 9:54 p.m., paramedic intercept requested.

10:07 p.m. Caller says a 12-year-old boy may be abused by his stepmother. 10:23 p.m., the boy said there was a disagreement earlier when he did not want to leave a campground in Minnesota. He does feel safe. Everything is okay.

Sunday, July 26

1:24 a.m. Chetek officer out with a woman. Woman is intoxicated and is trying to find her way home. 1:33 a.m., woman was dropped off at a resort.

12:45 p.m. Road washed out in Cameron near the old elementary school.

12:50 p.m. EMS paged to Chetek for a woman with pneumonia and another woman with a urinary tract infection.

1 p.m. Woman in Cameron requests a deputy help get her father away from an abusive household. Woman says they hadn’t heard from the man and checked on him. Her father’s wife has been abusive to him in the past. She has been hitting him and broke his phone so he could not call anyone. The father requested they take him away from there. The wife would not let him leave. Deputy advised. 1:55 p.m., man was picked up by his family. The woman was yelling and screaming. There are possible mental issues.

1:33 p.m. Cameron gas station forgot to charge a vehicle for gas. 1:39 p.m., owner will come back to pay.

3:28 p.m. EMS paged to Chetek for a man’s oxygen machine that is not working.

3:35 p.m. Cameron woman says her husband came home from the hospital yesterday. He is now confused and won’t drink or eat anything.

5:04 p.m. Chetek caller says a man is going crazy about his keys. 5:41 p.m., deputy says the man wants a wrecker to remove his car off of a property.

5:35 p.m. Chetek woman fell out of a wheelchair and needs help getting up.

6:07 p.m. Traffic stop in Cameron. 6:37 p.m., Cameron officer requests probation for a man as he is not to have contact with a woman. 6:42 p.m., probation will place a hold.

7:16 p.m. Rural Chetek woman says her political signs were stolen. Without security cameras, nothing can be done at this time. She will be putting out cameras and a new sign.

7:45 p.m. Caller says a woman may be passed out in a vehicle at a rural Chetek boat landing. Caller says the car went west on CTH D. The woman was left at the boat landing. 8:29 p.m., traffic stop. Woman was likely under the influence of something. Man was issued tickets and a sober driver came for the car.

10:37 p.m. Cameron man says he got a message from a woman saying he would get jumped or killed and that she has connections. 11:20 p.m., man was advised about getting a restraining order.

Monday, July 27

11:50 a.m. Cameron Post Office requests a check on a residence that has not been picking up delivered packages since last Thursday. 12:36 p.m., the resident was out of town and would be returning this evening.
