12:22 a.m. Callers say they are getting suicidal messages from a woman in New Auburn. Welfare check requested. 1:02 a.m., this is an ongoing issue. A parent is home and the woman has no intention of harming herself.

11:09 a.m. Dallas caller says there was a subject asking for food at the Dallas gas station. The person had a car they claimed was stolen.

12:10 p.m. Movie theater said they have problems with people bringing drugs and alcohol into the venue. They had a sign about their policies. They will call if they have any problems.

3:33 p.m. Social worker says that probation is placing a hold on a Chetek man. Man needs to be transported to jail. 3:52 p.m., man was talking with a crisis social worker. 4:02 p.m., en route to the jail.

4:18 p.m. Caller in rural Cameron says a vehicle hit a mailbox. 4:35 p.m., officer picked up a mirror.

4:38 p.m. Caller on Hwy. 53 says a driver had a gun and was twirling it around and pointed it at a passenger.

4:51 p.m. Restraining order filed against a subject.

6:31 p.m. Dallas caller says a man approached him and asked him for money. He was driving a Jeep Cherokee and told him that he stole it. 6:43 p.m., man will call if he sees the man.

Wednesday, July 3

12:12 a.m. Chetek man had a bat in his house. They have it alive and in a bucket. 12:16 a.m., bat was let go.

3:47 a.m. Dallas man called a facility for treatment and the man made suicidal statements. Man is intoxicated. 4:20 a.m., man is in custody. 5:34 a.m., crisis was contacted and they were en route to jail.

3:49 p.m. Cameron man says he has been getting scam calls but is not out any money.

4:37 p.m. Restraining order against a Chetek woman was filed and the man said conditions bar her from posting demeaning things about him on social media. The man said there were posts in violation. 5:14 p.m., posts were made before the restraining order was served and there was no violation at this time.

6:47 p.m. Chetek woman says she was involved in a domestic fight with her boyfriend. They are separated at this time. 7:15 p.m., man is in custody. Probation will place a hold. 7:32 p.m., en route to jail.

6:56 p.m. Cameron man says his girlfriend was assaulted by his son. 7:39 p.m., social worker was contacted. 8:31 p.m., son will stay at the residence for the night and the woman will stay somewhere else.

10:23 p.m. Traffic stop of a boat on Prairie Lake. 10:28 p.m., field sobriety test. 10:42 p.m., man in custody for OWI. 10:43 p.m., subject refused to give a sample. 11:11 p.m., subject was released to a responsible party.

Thursday, July 4

6:06 a.m. Chetek officer has a man in custody for bail jumping.

4:27 p.m. Dallas man says his girlfriend’s son may have put sugar in his gas tank. He has gotten troubling text messages from him. 6:41 p.m., logged for info. He will will get a restraining order.

6:43 p.m. Chetek woman says a man she has a restraining order against is at a bar. 6:51 p.m., man was asked to leave as the woman was there first. 7:03 p.m., man called upset because he was there first and the woman was there with a young child. Woman was called but she wouldn’t step out to talk with officers. 9 p.m., woman says the man is back. She said he tried to take her phone out of her hand and then left in a car. 9:04 p.m., she said he is back and trying to start fights with people. 9:09 p.m., man is in custody. 9:13 p.m., en route to jail.

8:53 p.m. OWI on Lake Chetek. 9:01 p.m., man is in custody. 9:06 p.m., meeting at the Chetek Marina to drop off the man with a deputy for transport to jail.

10:21 p.m. Chetek officer will cite a driver for passing on the left.

Friday, July 5

12:05 a.m. Death notification to family members in Cameron.

1:28 a.m. RV rollover in the 2100 block of 3-1/2 Avenue. Caller says two kids were sleeping in the back. One has a minor cut and the other has a bloody nose. Both were ejected but both are awake and alert. 1:44 p.m., helicopter is not able to fly. EMS paged. Three wreckers requested. 4:39 a.m., they will return to clean up debris.

5:41 p.m. Dallas caller says she was thrown across the room by her uncle. She is not injured. She left in her car. 5:51 p.m., deputy met with the caller.

7:09 p.m. Cameron man fell and was bleeding. 7:39 p.m., CPR started. 7:44 p.m., medical examiner requested.

9:23 p.m. Disorderly conduct call at a Chetek bar.

9:39 p.m. Traffic stop in Chetek. 9:58 p.m. man has a phone in his car and he claims it isn’t his. Probation will place a hold. Man in custody. Family will pick up the children.

Saturday, July 6

2:53 a.m. OWI in Chetek. 3:54 a.m., at the jail.

4:22 a.m. Man was walking home from the bar and took off running. They are looking for him. 5:23 a.m., officers request the phone be pinged. 5:53 a.m., cell companies refuse to ping the phone because the phone is on a different carrier’s tower. 5:57 a.m., officers are clear.

8:36 a.m. Caller says a relative in Cameron is acting crazy. She had been drinking and smoking marijuana and was running around the house naked and threatening to burn the house down. 9:24 a.m., deputy says the woman is not suicidal and does not want EMS. Husband and relatives were advised of three-party commitment processes.

10:48 a.m. Older man is not breathing in Dallas. EMS paged. 11:07 p.m., helicopter not needed. Medical examiner requested. 12:21 p.m., funeral home contacted.

11:22 a.m. Bear needs to be dispatched on Hwy. 53 near Cameron. There were cubs nearby. 12:30 p.m., cubs were not found.

11:47 a.m. New Auburn woman says someone on Snapchat asked her for photos and she declined. The subject then said they would shoot her and her mother and sent a photo of her address. She would like to see a deputy.

2:56 p.m. Woman in New Auburn was bit in the face by a dog and was bleeding. She was being driven to the hospital.

6:42 p.m. Chetek officer has a log entry for a theft.

7:37 p.m. Man on a boat at a dock is highly intoxicated and unconscious. 7:53 p.m., officer says everything is okay.

Sunday, July 7

2:55 a.m. Chetek officer has a man in custody for OWI.

3:39 a.m. Chetek caller says he purchased a vehicle from a man and they went to the gas station to put gas in it. He went inside and the seller took off with the vehicle. Officer will call him.

9:33 p.m. Caller was concerned about a man in Chetek making suicidal comments. 10:13 a.m., safety plan was put in place.

9:50 p.m. Woman in Chetek has warrants. 10:13 p.m., woman filled out paperwork to take care of the warrants.

11:35 p.m. Chetek caller says her husband was not feeling well. EMS paged. 11:53 p.m., CPR is in progress. 11:58 p.m., helicopter is not needed. 12:23 a.m., medical examiner requested. 12:33 a.m., funeral home was contacted.

Monday, July 8

6:30 p.m. Welfare check requested in Chetek for a man who left a note stating he was going to kill himself. 8:17 p.m., guns were given to another party. 8:45 p.m., a safety plan was in place.

7:59 p.m. Dallas caller says her daughter was camping with her aunt and uncle. She was harassing and threatening the daughter. She got a restraining order. Logged for info.
