Felonies

Michael E. Jacker, 52, Turtle Lake, was charged May 25 with second-degree recklessly endangering safety and misdemeanor disorderly conduct (use of a dangerous weapon) [May 22] and a $5,000 signature bond was set with conditions to have no contact with one person and to not possess any firearm.

Briane S. Gilmore, 31, Shakopee, Minn., was charged May 25 with OWI (fifth or sixth), operating with PAC (fifth or sixth) and misdemeanor resisting or obstructing an officer [May 6, 2015].

Zakariye D. Ali, 27, Barron, was charged May 26 with possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor disorderly conduct [May 11] and a signature bond was set at $2,500.

Justin M. Baumgardt, 36, Waupaca, was charged May 28 with possession with intent-amphetamine (50 grams or more) (second or subsequent offense) and two counts of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia [May 26] and a cash bond was set at $1,000.

Reynaldo Ramos, 22, Rice Lake, was charged May 26 with possession with intent-THC (200 grams or less), possession with intent-schedule IV drugs and misdemeanors intentionally contribute to the delinquency of a child, possession of drug paraphernalia and six counts of bail jumping-misdemeanor [May 24] and a cash bond was set at $500 with conditions to have no contact with one person.

Joseph T. Long, 39, Cumberland, was charged May 28 with two counts of bail jumping-felony [May 27] and a cash bond was set at $100 with conditions to avoid alcohol and anywhere it is sold and to have a curfew from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m.

Kenneth S. Wessels, 35, Rice Lake, was charged June 1 with bail jumping-felony, and misdemeanors bail jumping and one count of operating while revoked [May 8].

Christopher D. Holman, 34, Altoona, was charged June 1 with five counts of theft by contractor ($2,500–$5,000) [March 11, 2020; Jan. 20, 2020; Dec. 23, 2019; Dec. 12, 2019; Sept. 12, 2019], nine counts theft by contractor ($5,000–$10,000) [May 4, 2020; March 26, 2020; March 4, 2020; Feb. 4, 2020; Oct. 19, 2019; June 1, 2020; July 26, 2019; June 29, 2019; June 15, 2018], three counts of theft by contractor ($10,000–$100,000) [April 6, 2020; Feb. 21, 2020; Jan. 8, 2020], four counts of issue of worthless checks ($2,500 or less) [Feb. 21, 2020; March 13, 2020; March 13, 2020; May 10, 2020] and three counts of fraudulent rendering of income tax return or obtain refund with fraudulent intent [April 10, 2018; April 15, 2019; and March 16, 2020] and a summons was issued.

Jeremy R. Wahlstrom, 37, Cameron, was charged June 1 with possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor operate with restricted controlled substance (third) [Aug. 11, 2020] and a summons was issued.

Joshua D. Schumacher, 36, Rice Lake, pled guilty March 17 to possession with intent-amphetamine (3–10 grams) [Feb. 7, 2020] and was ordered to eight years in state prison-sentence imposed and stayed, three years of extended supervision-imposed and stayed and five years of probation-sentence imposed with conditions of 270 days in jail, costs of $518, must remain absolutely sober, must avoid alcohol and anywhere it is sold, must avoid controlled substances except those prescribed by a doctor, must undergo any recommended treatments and alcohol assessment. Two counts of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia [Feb. 7, 2020] were dismissed but read in.

Asa D. Merrill, 29, Rice Lake, pled guilty Jan. 11 to substantial battery-intend bodily harm [Feb. 2, 2020] and was ordered May 25 to 1.5 years in state prison-sentence imposed and stayed, 24 months of extended supervision-imposed and stayed and three years of probation-sentence imposed with conditions to avoid alcohol and anywhere it is sold, must avoid controlled substances except those prescribed by a doctor, costs of $518, must undergo any recommended treatments and alcohol assessment.

Wally H. Hanson, 50, Chetek, was charged May 26 with violate a harassment restraining order [May 16] and a summons was issued.

William H. Karls, 61, Chetek, pled guilty May 26 to possession of illegally obtained prescription [April 13, 2020] and was ordered to pay costs of $443.
