1:45 a.m. Dallas caller says there is disorderly conduct going on. A man is not wanted at an address. 2:25 a.m., subjects went to a brother’s house.

10:44 a.m. New Auburn woman wants to make a report of an assault that happened three years ago. 11:23 a.m., case was handled by a deputy three years ago. Woman did not like the outcome.

11:12 a.m. Chetek man has a warrant and is on probation. A home search will be done. 12:49 p.m., probation has a recent photo of the man, a felon, holding a firearm. 2:39 p.m., with the man at his residence. 2:44 p.m., en route to jail.

11:37 a.m. Cameron woman says she got the “grandchild in jail needs bail” scam.

2:01 p.m. Chetek officer out on a complaint.

3:56 p.m. Crash at CTH SS and CTH OO. Both drivers are okay but wreckers are needed. 4:17 p.m., EMS paged to check on one of the drivers. 4:42 p.m., no EMS transport. Deputies will give the drivers rides to their destinations.

5:43 p.m. Tree is leaning over CTH M at the Pokegama/Ojaski Lake bridge. Highway department was notified.

6:33 p.m. Burnett County social worker will be removing a 5-year-old from a residence in Chetek.

Wednesday, July 31

8:05 a.m. EMS intercept on Hwy. 8 from Weyerhaeuser for a woman with a possible broken leg.

8:10 a.m. Caller says he hit another vehicle. The other driver was out but said she hit her head and airbags did deploy. The road is blocked. EMS, Chetek Fire and deputies paged. 8:32 a.m., wrecker is en route.

1:20 p.m. Rural Chetek caller says one of his tractors rolled in the ditch. He was able to get his grandson out from under it and took him to a hospital in Eau Claire. 1:48 p.m., tractor will be removed before dark.

2:55 p.m. New Auburn caller says she is fighting with an ex-friend. The ex-friend wants a fridge back that she gave to the caller. Caller was told to keep it. Ex-friend was advised to go to civil court if she chooses.

4:24 p.m. Caller says there is a large hole in the road north of mile marker 129 on Hwy. 53 south.

9:07 p.m. Woman was hitchhiking on Hwy. 53. 10 p.m., deputy will give the woman a ride to Cameron. Woman was cited for possession of THC and paraphernalia.

10:29 p.m. Cameron caller has a complaint about loud music next door. 10:44 p.m., music was turned down.

Thursday, Aug. 1

9:26 a.m. Deputy in Chetek requests a log entry for a violation order.

1:09 p.m. Cameron man says someone ran over his cherry tree in his yard.

1:56 p.m. Caller says a vehicle hit a utility pole at Dallas and Third streets. The driver is not injured. 2:26 p.m., wrecker has the car. No EMS transport.

4:28 p.m. Two-vehicle crash in Chetek on Knapp Street. 5:15 p.m., vehicles were towed.

5:20 p.m. Chetek woman says her license plates were taken. 5:38 p.m., plates were not stolen.

Friday, Aug. 2

12:51 a.m. Caller near New Auburn says a truck is driving without a tire, dragging an axle and is tearing up the middle of the road on 29th Street. 1:11 a.m., deputy does not see the car.

6:50 a.m. Crash at Hwy. 8 and CTH SS in Cameron. Driver is unconscious and is breathing abnormally. 7:46 a.m., funeral home contacted. 9:53 a.m., family was notified.

Saturday, Aug. 3

11:37 a.m. Chetek caller says there is a physical domestic incident at his neighbor’s house. Chetek officer notified.

12:30 p.m. Woman in New Auburn put a belt around her neck. 12:40 p.m., she is now arguing with her boyfriend. 12:51 p.m., deputy says everything is okay and they are waiting for the woman’s mother to arrive. 8:03 p.m., crisis help line was contacted.

4:56 p.m. Woman called about a missing person. 5:32 p.m., deputy spoke to a Cameron man who has not seen the subject in years.

5:12 p.m. Cameron man is speaking with officers regarding incidents with a woman. He would like an officer present when she comes to pick up items. He isn’t going to pick up items and wanted to know what to do to protect his things. 5:54 p.m., man was advised this was a civil matter and if he needs help, he should call then.

10:22 p.m. Traffic stop near Chetek. Field sobriety test. 10:34 p.m., driver is intoxicated. There are children in the vehicle. 11:40 p.m., at hospital. 12:12 a.m., at the jail.

Sunday, Aug. 4

6:46 a.m. Chetek officer requests a log entry for a violation.

7:51 a.m. Caller says there are subjects shooting geese at the Chetek Airport. 8:03 a.m., airport manager says everything is okay.

9:15 a.m. Man was trapped under a Bobcat skid-steer near New Auburn. EMS paged. Man was able to free himself. Possible leg fracture. 9:28 a.m., Chetek Fire is on scene. 9:37 a.m., EMS will transport to Eau Claire. Helicopter had a 40-minute arrival time.

1 p.m. Chetek man said he sold a freezer online to a woman who paid for it but she has not picked it up yet. She now wants a refund. He was concerned she would make a complaint against him. Man was advised it was a civil matter and to refund the money and sell it to someone else. Officer will speak with the man.

3:30 p.m. Chetek woman says her son has received threats.

8:53 p.m. Cameron man says a man is trying to fight him. 9:28 p.m., it is an argument over parenting issues. Juvenile will be staying at his uncle’s tonight.

Monday, Aug. 5

12:11 a.m. Chetek caller can see a shadow in her yard and her side door was open. She had locked the house before she went to bed and was awoken by her dog barking. 12:27 a.m., officer says it does appear someone tried to pry open the door. They will check the area. 1:09 a.m., husband was contacted at the sand plant.

3:37 a.m. Off-duty deputy says there is a driver in the ditch near Chetek. 3:46 a.m., no smell of intoxication. Driver was trying to turn around and got stuck.

6:56 a.m. Elderly woman in rural New Auburn has trouble breathing. EMS paged. 7:30 a.m., en route to Bloomer.

8:03 a.m. Cameron man found a bullet hole in his shed. He is concerned as he has horses. 9:11 a.m., it appears it came from the road.

8:15 a.m. Cameron woman is missing some oxycodone pills.

9:24 a.m. Chetek woman says she had pop spilled on her counter and floor last week and she wants someone to come and check the two trail cameras she set up in her home. 10:01 a.m., officer said there were about 5,000 photos of the woman walking around her house.

10:40 a.m. New Auburn woman says she is having problems with her son who lives with her. She said she wants to sell the house but he does not want to. He may have a mental health issue. Deputy gave them some alternatives to look into.

2:09 p.m. Chetek officer is checking on a man who was sitting in a lot for five hours. 2:14 p.m., man was on his phone and smoking.

3:06 p.m. Tree is on a wire and is sparking near Chetek. 3:51 p.m., utility company is there. Chetek Fire will be clear.

3:10 p.m. Car went off CTH SS near Cameron. Caller says the driver is ignoring him. 3:34 p.m., officer requests EMS for possible confusion issues. 4:24 p.m., driver was taken to a residence in Chetek.

4:55 p.m. Chetek officer out at towing impound. A vehicle was vandalized. 5:10 p.m., owner said she had some things taken from the vehicle. There are some issues with the registration on the vehicle.

8:34 p.m. Caller says a man showed up smelling of gas and acting like he was on something. 8:46 p.m., man blew a .161 PBT. 8:52 p.m., probation will place a hold.

10:39 p.m. Cameron man says a neighbor says there may be people at his house. He is away, but it could be his ex-wife. 11:23 p.m., officer says this is a civil matter and they will set up a time to meet on Saturday.

11:24 p.m. Caller says a woman stole her truck about five hours ago. She does not want to press charges. She wants her vehicle back. 12:09 a.m., vehicle was brought back and they took off on foot.
