Thomas A. Drone, 24, Cumberland, was charged Aug. 27 with possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia [Aug. 26] and a signature bond was set at $1,000.

Nicholas A. Apfel, 38, Cameron, was charged Aug. 28 with burglary-building or dwelling [Aug. 26] and a signature bond was set at $2,500 with conditions to have no contact with one subject.

Garrett F. Redmond, 71, Wisconsin Dells, pleaded guilty Aug. 27 to OWI (fifth or sixth) and forfeiture obstructing an officer [June 18, 2018] and was ordered to 24 months’ suspended license and ignition interlock, three years of probation-sentence withheld with conditions of 180 days in jail, costs of $2,086.50, must remain absolutely sober, avoid alcohol and anywhere it is sold, undergo any recommended treatments and alcohol assessment. Charges of operating with PAC (fifth or sixth), battery or threat to judge, prosecutor or law enforcement officer and misdemeanor resisting or failing to stop [June 18, 2018] were dismissed but read in.

Glenn C. Bugg, 54, Chetek, pleaded guilty Aug. 27 to two counts of amended charges of possession of methamphetamine [July 20, 2018, and June 19, 2018] and was ordered to two years in local jail-imposed and stayed and three years of probation-sentence withheld with conditions of costs of $1,326, 30 days in jail, must undergo any recommended treatments and alcohol assessment.

Tiffany J. Goss, 31, Rice Lake, pleaded guilty Nov. 26, 2018, and was ordered Aug. 27 to two years of probation-sentence withheld with conditions of costs of $956, must undergo any recommended treatments and alcohol assessment. A charge of misdemeanor possession of THC [March 31, 2018] was dismissed but read in.

Ryan P. Nelson, 35, Cameron, pleaded guilty Aug. 27 to OWI (fifth or sixth) [Nov. 10, 2018] and was ordered to 36 months of ignition interlock and license revoked and four years of probation-sentence withheld with conditions of 12 months in jail, costs of $1,819, must undergo any recommended treatments and alcohol assessment. A charge of operating with PAC (fifth or sixth) [Nov. 11, 2018] was dismissed but read in.

Misdemeanors

John J. Clarke, 21, Chetek, was charged Aug. 27 with battery (domestic abuse), disorderly conduct (domestic abuse), criminal damage to property and intimidate victim/dissuade reporting [Aug. 26] and a signature bond was set at $2,500 with conditions to have no contact with one subject.

Laura J. Smilowski, 55, Rice Lake, was charged Aug. 28 with disorderly conduct [Aug. 27] and a signature bond was set at $500 with conditions to have no contact with one subject.

Jason D. Kothbauer, 42, Cameron, had charges of battery and disorderly conduct [Feb. 9] dismissed on Aug. 29 after a deferred prosecution or sentence agreement was fulfilled.
