3:41 a.m. Deputy is out with a man at storage units near Chetek. 3:43 a.m., the man is living there and the property owners will be notified tomorrow.

8:04 a.m. Cameron man says he wants a woman removed from his apartment. This morning, she took his card, took out money from an ATM and used it to buy gas. She may have vandalized his car. 8:33 a.m., they will have to go through circuit court because she has lived there for the past year.

12:13 p.m. Dallas caller says he got a fraud call threatening to shut off his power if he did not send them gift cards from a Barron gas station.

5:37 p.m. Chetek woman had a tree fall on her house from the storm.

7:49 p.m. Chetek officer is responding to a fight on Railroad Avenue. 7:56 p.m., woman is inside a residence. The man fled on foot. 8:05 p.m., deputy is out with the man. 8:16 p.m., they are heading back to the residence. 8:32 p.m., officer requests a call from the district attorney. 9:15 p.m., woman blew a 0.25 PBT. 9:28 p.m., man was given a ride to a motel.

8:41 p.m. One-vehicle rollover on Hwy. 53 near New Auburn. New Auburn Fire paged. EMS paged. 8:49 p.m., caller says the car is in the water in a swamp. Helicopter paged. 8:55 p.m., wrecker called. 8:56 p.m., it is behind a guardrail and 300 feet off the road. Helicopter is not needed. Driver is out and walking around. 9:27 p.m., man is in custody for OWI. En route to Barron.

Wednesday, Sept. 4

11:26 p.m. Vehicle is in the ditch near Chetek. No EMS is needed. 11:33 p.m., field sobriety test. 11:40 p.m., driver is in custody for OWI. Wrecker requested. 11:58 p.m., woman wanted to know what was going on in front of her property. She wanted the driver’s info for if there was damage to her property. She was advised to look in the morning and call in the morning if there was damage. 12:38 a.m., en route to jail with the driver.

Thursday, Sept. 5

12:46 a.m. Woman in Cameron has locked herself in the bathroom. She has been fighting with her husband for several hours. 12:54 a.m., woman says the man is trying to get into the bathroom and break the door. She doesn’t believe he has any weapons. He has been drinking. 1:01 a.m., deputy says everything is okay. Man is in custody for domestic disorderly conduct. 1:20 a.m., 72-hour no-contact was enforced.

1:21 p.m. Cameron nursing home says a resident is out of control and breaking things. 2:03 p.m., man will buy a new TV for the one he damaged.

3:51 p.m. Caller says there is a juvenile walking on Hwy. 53 near the drive-in theater. 5:17 p.m., Eau Claire County will be contacted about the juvenile’s social worker. 5:26 p.m., attempting to locate the child.

4:11 p.m. Caller says her foster child did not go to his sixth-hour class in Cameron. He did not get on the bus. He may be the juvenile seen walking on Hwy. 53. 5:16 p.m., woman gave a description of the kid. 5:47 p.m., officer checked the father’s address in Eau Claire and he has not seen the kid.

5:07 p.m. Man says he rented a camper in Chetek to some teenagers for a couple of months. When he returned, it was dirty and there was a bag of possible drugs. He would like an officer to check it out.

8:19 p.m. Chetek man says two of his 10-week-old German shepherd puppies were stolen from his yard. The mother was still there with the third puppy.

9:04 p.m. Woman at Subway in Chetek says a driver hit her vehicle and drove off.

10:32 p.m. Missing juvenile from this afternoon was found. 10:48 p.m., his mother will transport him back to the foster parents.

Friday, Sept. 6

12:31 p.m. Dallas man says his ex-girlfriend took two of his credit cards from his home.

4:50 p.m. Chetek caller says his elderly sister is having breathing trouble. EMS paged. 5:21 p.m., en route to Rice Lake.

6:17 p.m. 911 caller says he was at a residence to see a friend and was assaulted by a woman. Man said he did not want to get anyone in trouble. 6:26 p.m., officer is out with the man. Officer will speak to the woman. 6:58 p.m., no one wanted to press charges. 7:06 p.m., man was transported to a gas station where his mother will pick him up.

10:47 p.m. Caller east of Rice Lake says a pickup full of Chetek-Weyerhaeuser High School students are trespassing on her parents’ property. They have been told to leave but returned once. They are gone. 11:23 p.m., deputy says it is an issue between the caller’s sister and her boyfriend’s friends. Advised the caller to bring up the issue with the sister.

Saturday, Sept. 7

1:33 p.m. Caller says her daughter said her husband hit her and kicked her out of the residence. The man refused to let the woman take the child with her. 2:32 p.m., deputy spoke to both parties and no crime has been committed.

4:17 p.m. Crash on Second Street near Kwik Trip. 4:37 p.m., wrecker requested. 4:51 p.m., EMS paged to check a driver’s concussion.

6:58 p.m. Caller in Cameron says there was a vehicle with three people in it and it appeared they were on drugs. 9:13 p.m., officer is out with a subject on a warrant. Warrants were confirmed.

Sunday, Sept. 8

12:42 a.m. Dallas man says his sister just stole a vehicle and is heading toward the Barron hospital. 12:52 a.m., traffic stop. 1:07 a.m., woman is in custody. 1:39 a.m., woman is en route to jail for a warrant.

12:20 p.m. Chetek woman says her storm door is stuck and she cannot get out. 12:35 p.m., officer helped the woman get out.

3:58 p.m. Chetek towing company says they towed a vehicle this weekend and someone broke into it last night.

3:59 p.m. Chetek nursing home says a resident pulled a fire alarm. Alarms will be disregarded for five minutes.

8:09 p.m. Caller in New Auburn says she is trying to hunt and there are dogs chasing deer and bear. The offending animals belong to a renter. They will have to talk to the landowner.

8:12 p.m. Chetek caller says a woman stopped by asking to talk to the FBI. She is going door to door. 8:25 p.m., deputy is out with the woman. She left her car on CTH SS. She is walking door to door to get the FBI’s phone number. 8:38 p.m., deputy brought the woman back to her car. She promised to stay home tonight and get help in the morning.

9:29 p.m. Rural Cameron man says he and his ex-wife are arguing about who will take their daughter for the evening. They were told they need to work together and sort it out for the benefit of their daughter. 9:40 p.m., woman called to say she was assaulted by the man. He slapped her and broke her glasses. 9:57 p.m., deputy is speaking with the man. 10:04 p.m., he is in custody for domestic disorderly conduct.

Monday, Sept. 9

5:06 a.m. Man hit a deer with a truck. Airbag went off. He has stomach and chest pain. EMS paged.

7:30 a.m. Fire at the feed mill at Jennie-O Turkey Store in Barron. 7:45 a.m., Chetek and Cameron fire departments paged to assist Barron Fire. 8:20 a.m., railroad was advised there were fire hoses across the railroad tracks. 8:37 a.m., Barron water utility was advised firefighters were pulling 8,000 gallons a minute. 8:41 a.m., New Auburn Fire will bring the rehab trailer. 9:19 a.m., fire was under control.

12 p.m. Chetek woman says she did not get any mail recently and was expecting mail. She reported it to the post office. 12:37 p.m., woman will speak with her husband.

12:52 p.m. Deputy got a complaint of drug activity and domestic abuse happening at a New Auburn-area home. Information was forwarded to the drug detectives and social workers.

6:05 p.m. Minor crash at Kwik Trip in Chetek. 6:35 p.m., woman says her phone was dead. The other vehicle was a hit-and-run.
