Felonies

Stephanie L. Nieves, 39, Barron, was charged Feb. 4 with possession of methamphetamine, bail jumping-felony [Jan. 23] and misdemeanor resisting or obstructing an officer [Feb. 3] and a signature bond was set at $5,000. Nieves was charged Feb. 8 with two counts of bail jumping-felony and one count of misdemeanor disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) [Feb. 5] and a $5,000 signature bond was set with conditions to have no contact with one person and their residence.

Lars G. Miller, 36, Rice Lake, was charged Feb. 5 with OWI (fifth or sixth) [Feb. 4] and a signature bond was set at $5,000 with conditions to not drive without a valid license and to not consume any controlled substances except those prescribed to him by a doctor.

Jeffrey A. Rush, 37, Rice Lake, was charged Feb. 8 with possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanors disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) and bail jumping-misdemeanor [Feb. 7] and a cash bond was set at $500 with conditions to have no contact with two people.

Donnie J. Strand, 29, Bruce, was charged Feb. 8 with possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanors criminal damage to property (domestic abuse) and bail jumping-misdemeanor (all repeater) [Feb. 26] and a cash bond was set at $100 with conditions to have no contact with one person or their residence.

Christopher M. Meza, 27, Barron, pled guilty Dec. 11, 2020, to second-degree recklessly endangering safety (domestic abuse) and misdemeanor criminal damage to property (domestic abuse) [July 5, 2020] and was ordered Feb. 3 to three years of state prison-imposed and stayed, two years of extended supervision-imposed and stayed and four years of probation-sentence withheld with conditions of 180 days in jail, costs of $1,171, must undergo any recommended treatments and alcohol assessment. Charges of two counts of felony recklessly endangering safety [July 5, 2020] were dismissed but read in.

Erik B. Whiterabbit, 30, Cumberland, pled guilty Feb. 4 to theft-movable property ($2,500–$5,000) (as party to a crime) [April 11, 2020] and was ordered to two years of probation-sentence withheld with conditions of costs of $528, must remain absolutely sober and must undergo any recommended treatments. A charge of felony take and drive vehicle without consent (as party to a crime) [April 11, 2020] was dismissed but read in.

Misdemeanors

Michael L. Boswell, 55, Rice Lake, was charged Feb. 3 with OWI (third), operating with PAC (third) and disorderly conduct [Nov. 18, 2020] and a signature bond was set at $1,000 with conditions to not possess or consume alcohol and avoid anywhere it is sold and to not drive without a valid license.

Wayne S. Hensel, 60, Cameron, pled guilty Feb. 5 to and amended charge of possession of amphetamine/LSD/psilocin [June 26, 2020] and was ordered to one year of probation-sentence withheld with conditions of costs of $443, must avoid alcohol and controlled substances and must undergo any recommended treatments. A charge of possession of drug paraphernalia [June 26, 2020] was dismissed but read in.

Christopher A. Haws, 35, Cumberland, pled guilty Feb. 3 to an amended charge of possession of amphetamine/LSD/psilocin (as party to a crime) [May 8, 2020] and was ordered to one year of probation-sentence withheld with conditions of costs of $443, must remain absolutely sobriety and must undergo any recommended treatments. Charges of felony neglecting a child (harm did not occur and child under 6 years or disability, misdemeanors neglecting a child (specified harm did not occur) and possession of drug paraphernalia (all as party to a crime) [May 8, 2020] were dismissed.

Marcus R. Olson, 33, Rice Lake, pled guilty Feb. 5 to operate with restricted controlled substance (second) and possession of drug paraphernalia [April 12, 2019] and was ordered to 12 months of ignition interlock, 12 months of license revocation, 10 days in jail, costs and fine of $1,872 and alcohol assessment. A charge of misdemeanor possession of THC [April 12, 2019] was dismissed but read in.

Michael W. Rust, 40, Cameron, had probation for endanger safety/use/dangerous weapon [Oct. 17, 2019] revoked on Feb. 3 and was ordered to four months of local jail and costs of $888.40.
