Felonies

Jeremiah W. Paquin, 32, Wausau, was charged Jan. 30 with first-degree child sexual assault-intercourse with person under 16-use threat of force or violence, use a computer to facilitate a child sex crime and expose genitals, pubic area or intimate parts to a child [Jan. 18] and a statewide warrant was issued for his arrest.

Melissa K. Lambrecht, 36, Cameron, was charged Feb. 2 with theft-business setting ($2,500–$5,000) [Aug. 1, 2016] and a court summons was issued.

Elissa S. Craine, 38, Almena, was charged Feb. 4 with bail jumping-felony and misdemeanor operating while revoked [Feb. 3] and was released on a $1,500 signature bond with conditions to not operate a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license.

Jeremy J. McNicholas, 31, Rice Lake, was charged Feb. 4 with OWI (4th) [Feb. 1] and was released on a $2,500 signature bond with conditions to not drive without a valid license, must avoid alcohol and anywhere it is sold except for employment purposes and must submit daily PBTs to the Rice Lake Police Department.

Kari J. Hislop, 29, Barron, was charged Feb. 4 with possession of methamphetamine [Feb. 2] and was bound over on a $1,500 signature bond.

Lee Ann D. Gharis, 29, Almena, was charged Feb. 4 with possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia [Feb. 2] and was released on a $2,500 signature bond.

Justin A. Nickell, 29, Barron, was charged Feb. 4 with substantial battery-intend bodily harm and misdemeanor disorderly conduct [Feb. 2] and was bound over on a $2,500 signature bond with conditions to have no contact with one subject, must have no abusive contact with one subject and must avoid alcohol and anywhere it is sold.

Cazz A. Johnson, 29, Chetek, was charged Feb. 4 with two counts of take and drive vehicle without owner’s consent [Jan. 23] and was bound over on a $2,500 signature bond with conditions to have no contact with two subjects.

Matthew A. Norton, 34, Pine City, Minn., pleaded guilty Feb. 4 to sex offender-failure to update information [Jan. 3, 2018] and was sentenced to 3 years probation-sentence withheld with conditions to pay costs of $518 and must comply with all sex offender registry conditions.

Jacob E. Bowersock, 27, Exeland, pleaded guilty Jan. 25 to OWI (4th) [Oct. 1, 2018] and was sentenced to 33 months ignition interlock, alcohol assessment, fines of $2,629, 330 days in local jail and license revoked 33 months. Charges of operating with PAC (4th) and misdemeanors operating while revoked and ignition interlock device tampering/ failing to install/violate court order [Oct. 1, 2018] were dismissed on Jan. 25.

Kelvin B. Lee, 23, Barron, had a charge of armed robbery (as party to a crime) [Nov. 14, 2017] dismissed on Jan. 29. Lee had charges of burglary-building or dwelling and armed robbery (both as party to a crime) [Dec. 19, 2017] dismissed but read in.

Connor A. Ruthven, 23, Rice Lake, had charges of possession with intent-THC (200–1,000 grams) and bail jumping-felony [Sept. 9, 2018] dismissed but read in on Feb. 1.

Nicholas A. Apfel, 37, Cameron, had charges of possession of methamphetamine and two counts of bail jumping-felony [Aug. 26, 2018] dismissed but read in on Feb. 1. Apfel had a charge of misdemeanor carry concealed weapon [Sept. 9, 2017] dismissed but read in on Feb. 1.

Kenneth J. Townsend, 64, Cameron, pleaded guilty Jan. 31 to possession with intent-amphetamine (3 grams or less) [May 16, 2018] and was ordered to 3 years in state prison-imposed and stayed, 3 years extended supervision-imposed and stayed and 3 years probation-sentence imposed with conditions to pay costs of $518 and must undergo any recommended treatments. Two charges of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia [May 16, 2018] were dismissed but read in.

Zachary A. Schwanke, 19, Cumberland, had a charge of armed robbery (as party to a crime) [Nov. 14, 2017] dismissed but read in on Feb. 1. Schwanke had a charge of attempted burglary-building or dwelling (as party to a crime) [Dec. 18, 2018] dismissed but read in on Feb. 1.

Misdemeanors

Robert J. Gallardo, 22, Cameron, was charged Feb. 4 with two counts of bail jumping-misdemeanor [Feb. 2] and he was bound over on a $500 cash bond with conditions to have no contact with one person.

Charmain K. Wiggers, 51, Cumberland and also of Comstock, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia [July 11, 2018] and was ordered to 2 years of probation-sentence withheld with conditions to pay $443 in costs. A charge of felony possession of methamphetamine was ordered to 2 years of deferred prosecution or sentence. Wiggers pleaded guilty Jan. 29 to an amended charge of bail jumping-misdemeanor [Dec. 19, 2018] and was ordered to 2 years of probation-sentence withheld with conditions of costs of $443, must remain absolutely sober and must undergo any recommended treatments.

Jody L. Amundson, 45, Sarona, had charges of OWI (2nd), ignition interlock device tampering/failing to install/violate court order, possession of illegally obtained prescription and bail jumping [June 8, 2018] dismissed on prosecutor’s motion on Jan. 29.

Patrick S. Prendiville, 44, Chetek, pleaded guilty Jan. 29 to disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia [Sept. 29, 2018] and was ordered to 30 days in local jail, and costs of $886.

Gary L. Bronstad, 33, Rice Lake, pleaded guilty Feb. 1 to OWI (3rd) [May 5, 2018] and was ordered to pay costs of $1,744, serve 45 days in local jail, undergo alcohol assessment and ay reocmmended treatments, 24 months of license revoked and 24 months of ignition interlock. Charges of operating while revoked, ignition interlock device tampering/failing to install/violate court order, two counts of bail jumping-misdemeanor and operating with PAC (3rd) [May 5, 2018] were dismissed but read in on Feb. 1.

Bruce R. Klefstad, 71, Hillsdale, fail to have passenger seat belted and operating a motor vehicle without insurance [Dec. 18, 2018], $210.50.

Karleigh D. Melton, 23, Dallas, speeding (1–10 mph) [Dec. 31, 2018], $175.30.

Wayne E. Muhonen, 70, Chetek, failure to keep vehicle under control [Oct. 6, 2018], $213.10.

Randy R. Scherz, 60, Chetek, speeding (11–15 mph) [Dec. 31, 2018], $175.30.

Heath R. Wheeler, 22, Chetek, speedometer violations [Oct. 22, 2018], $300.

Elijaih A. Whitman, 21, Hillsdale, violate absolute sobriety law [Dec. 1, 2018], $389.50.

Echoe R. Waterhouse, 30, Chetek, pleaded guilty Jan. 30 to an amended charge of possession of amphetamine/LSD/psilocin [Feb. 15] and was ordered to 1 year of probation-sentence withheld with conditions of costs of $443, must undergo any recommended treatments and alcohol assessment.

Loren C. Purintun, 50, Cameron, had probation for theft-movable property ($2,500 or less) (repeater) [May 20, 2016] revoked on Feb. 1 and was ordered to pay costs of $459.81 and serve 300 days in local jail.
