4:48 p.m. Crash at CTH M and Hwy. 8. Lawn mower fell off a trailer. 5:05 p.m., wrecker requested. 5:34 p.m., no EMS transport.

6:15 p.m. Minor crash at gas station in Cameron. 6:40 p.m., man is in custody. Wrecker will tow a car. 6:52 p.m., en route to the jail.

Wednesday, Sept. 2

3:16 a.m. Chetek man says that two people were at his neighbor’s basement window. He yelled at them and one took off in an SUV. 3:26 p.m., officer will try and talk to the owner and search for the subjects.

9:56 a.m. Cameron woman says she was selling a car to a man. He paid some money and took the car without a bill of sale or removing the plates. There were also some dentures in the car she would like back. 12:04 p.m., woman will contact the department of motor vehicles.

3:26 p.m. Caller in Chetek says her vehicle at the CTH I boat landing was broken into while they were canoeing. 4:12 p.m., deputy is en route to Chetek where the woman’s card was used.

4:10 p.m. Deputy requests an entry for sexual assault.

4:29 p.m. Chetek officer requested an entry for a fight at school.

8:13 p.m. Traffic stop in Chetek. Woman in custody for possession of methamphetamine. 8:53 p.m., en route to jail.

Thursday, Sept. 3

10:44 a.m. Cameron caller on Hwy. 53 says a black sedan is swerving all over the road. It is driving down the middle of two lanes. It nearly hit some cars. 10:24 a.m., traffic stop near Rice Lake. 10:34 a.m., man in custody for possession of THC, delivery of meth and operating with a restricted controlled substance. He has a Minnesota warrant but no extradition. Probation will place a hold. 10:41 a.m., wrecker is en route. 11:01 a.m., vehicle will be impounded. 11:33 a.m., en route to the hospital for a blood draw.

3:24 p.m. Teenager in rural Chetek says her mother took her phone and assaulted her. She said she was doing her school work and raised her voice. Then her mother yelled at her, took her phone and hit her. She does not need EMS. 4:28 p.m., deputy requests social services. 4:55 p.m., woman can be arrested if located.

3:39 p.m. Chetek caller at a resort says there are “bisexuals in camouflage going in and out of the woods doing drugs.” He would like a K-9 unit do a drug sniff on the property. Man may have mental issues. Logged for info.

11:31 p.m. Chetek caller says there are subjects having a “hook up party.” He saw a subject dressed in camo gear.

Friday, Sept. 4

12:36 a.m. Caller says there was a physical domestic between her daughter and the daughter’s boyfriend in Chetek. 12:44 a.m., officer says no one will open the door. 12:49 a.m., out with the woman. 1:18 a.m., woman blew a 0.171 PBT. Jail will take the woman for misdemeanor bail jumping. Woman was in custody. 1:35 a.m., man had some cuts to his nose. He said it was from a car crash a few days ago. Both said it was a verbal fight.

12:46 a.m. Chetek woman says a man woke her up and started yelling at her. He took her phone. She went to a nearby bar to call 911. Nothing physical happened. The man is outside yelling and talking to the bartender. 1:16 a.m., officer has the man and is en route to an address in the city. 1:27 a.m., man was dropped off with his father and agreed to not go back to the woman’s apartment. 2:23 a.m., man is back at the apartment, yelling and pounding on the door. He fled. 2:27 a.m., traffic stop. 2:53 a.m., en route to the jail. 2:58 a.m., an Embrace packet was filled out.

2:44 p.m. Theft complaint at school.

6:34 p.m. Rollover on Hwy. 53 near New Auburn. Four people are in the car, including two children. No injuries. 6:38 p.m., caller says the other car was swerving, sideswiped the other car, then rolled. Driver is uninjured. 6:52 p.m., New Auburn Fire says there is one patient with leg and ankle injuries. 6:57 p.m., the rolled car is in the water. Wrecker is en route.

10:02 p.m. Traffic stop on Hwy. 8 east of Cameron. Vehicle search. 10:24 p.m., man in custody. He will be cited and released.

Saturday, Sept. 5

12:02 a.m. Cameron caller says a man is at his residence and being disorderly. 12:05 a.m., caller says the man left on a bicycle. A woman was hit on the head and the man threatened to kill people. EMS is not needed. 12:13 a.m., man ditched the bike and may be in a corn field. 12:55 a.m., man could be arrested for domestic disorderly conduct.

8:53 p.m. Large brush fire in the 900 block of 24-3/4 Street. 9:39 p.m., Chetek Fire says it is a controlled burn that does not have a permit. It will be put out. 9:58 p.m., Department of Natural Resources ranger will handle the case.

Sunday, Sept. 6

4:43 a.m. Caller in rural Cameron says someone on the road is screaming “Help me!” They were also digging in the yard. 4:56 a.m., deputy says EMS is not needed. Subject is under the influence of something. He says he was left there by friends. There are needle caps in his pocket. 5:17 a.m., probation will place a hold.

4:12 p.m. New Auburn man says his girlfriend’s 15-year-old brother pulled a gun on her and threatened to kill her. She was in a domestic with her mother. She left the house. She will be en route to Bloomer. 4:49 p.m., deputy will meet the woman in Chetek. 5:26 p.m., woman will fill out statements and stay at a hotel tonight. Tomorrow she will be 18 and can stay where she wants.

11:45 p.m. Rural Chetek man is making suicidal statements. He is intoxicated. 12:03 a.m., man is in custody. He refused a PBT test and threw the tube on the ground. He will be charged for disorderly conduct. 12:10 a.m., probation will place a hold.

Monday, Sept. 7

12:43 p.m. New Auburn man says his sister came at him with a knife. He does not know why. No one is injured. Everyone is outside. He says he is 15 and does not feel safe. The sister is 18 and she left with people. 1:04 p.m., deputy is checking the area. 1:07 a.m., woman is at a gas station. 1:35 a.m., en route to the jail with the woman.

4:07 p.m. Crash in the 600 block of 24-1/8 Street. Vehicle hit a tree. The driver is breathing. EMS paged. 4:15 p.m., helicopter can fly. 4:38 p.m., wrecker en route.

5:30 p.m. Caller on CTH I says a vehicle is missing a front tire. It spun around and is now headed into Chetek. The car is now near the Chetek Dam. 5:40 p.m., officer out with the man. He was inside a bar and the officer can smell alcohol on him. Probation was contacted. 5:54 p.m., probation will place a hold.

5:30 p.m. Chetek caller says there are people wearing camo, having sex outside and doing drugs. He wants it checked out. Possible mental issue. Logged for info.
