Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald said three people were arrested this month and a total of 69 grams of meth was found, worth about $7,000 on the street.

Jacob Rheingans, 43, of Barron, was arrested during a traffic stop and was allegedly in possession of 10 grams of meth. A later search, related to the traffic stop, led to the arrest of Brittany Turgeson, 37, of Chetek. She was allegedly in possession of 22 grams of methamphetamine.

That arrest led to a search warrant raid at a house north of Barron. There, Bernardo Garcia, 37, of Rice Lake, was arrested. He was allegedly in possession of 37 grams of methamphetamine, Fitzgerald said.

Garcia was charged in Barron County Circuit Court on Sept. 7. Turgeson was charged on Sept. 3. Rheingans was being held in jail on a probation warrant as of Friday, Sept. 10.
