The Tony Shakedown 2020 will be held Friday to Sunday, Sept. 11–13, with sports, music, food, a fly-in and more. All events will be held in Tony.

Enjoy some baseball as well as the Hayshakers will be hosting the End of Summer Shakedown Baseball Tournament during the weekend.

There will be baseball all weekend, and a volleyball tournament is also slated.

The event will include pork and chicken dinners, craft beer and kids activities.

A fly-in breakfast will be held at the Rusk County Airport. As many as 40 airplanes have flown in for this event in the past, weather depending. The fly-in is free and open to the public, and attendees will be able to view visiting aircraft, see takeoffs and landings, talk to pilots and tour the airport. Bring the younsters and a camera. Provisions will be made for social distancing.

Music starts at 5 p.m., Saturday. Bands scheduled to perform include The Black Moods, The Hales Brothers, Motherwind and Acoustic Mash-Up

The annual Rusk County Airport Fly-in & Pancake Breakfast will be held on Saturday, Sept.12, from 7–11 a.m. The meal will be put on by the Tony Hayshaker team. There is a charge for the breakfast.

The event will feature a 50/50 raffle and cash contests.

A polka band will play Friday.
