The 11th annual National Night Out in Chetek takes place at 5–8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 6, at the Chetek Fire Department and emergency medical services building, located at 1224 Railroad Ave.

Local police and a K-9 unit will be on hand to meet. Police, fire and rescue vehicles will also be on display, with fire truck rides planned. For the event, each department will have free food, prizes, a bounce house, face painting and family fun. Admission for the event is free.
