Two permits will be considered by the Chetek Common Council on Friday, June 26, for two separate Liberty Fest events.

The first permit will consider a plan for a Chris Kroeze concert at Reds on Friday, July 3, at Red's.

The business wants to close off the parking lot an west lawn for the concert and a stage, and allow patrons to have alcoholic beverages in these areas. City officials are concerned about parking, shuttle service, traffic routes and street clsoures, neighbors' consent to street closures, security and cleanup of the event, which is expected to draw a large crowd.

The second permit will be for a transient/public entertainment permit for Pint Size Pastures, of Amery, (a petting zoo) at The Mill during a craft and vendor event on Saturday, July 4.
