Barron County will be opening all of its ATV/UTV trails on Friday, May 1.

According to the Chetek ATV Cruzers, UTV‘s have been on CTH SS in Chetek; county highways are not authorized routes and are subject to a $124 fine or more. Also, a city ordinance requires ATV/UTV lights to be on when using authorized streets.

Currently, there are 78.9 miles of ATV trails in Barron County, including the 8-mile Cattail Trail, 16-mile Cattail Trail Extension and 9.1-mile Wild Rivers Trail.
