A 41-year-old Glen Flora man was arrested in Rusk County on Wednesday evening, June 5, after a 26-mile vehicle pursuit across the county.

The Rusk County Sheriff's Office said Justin Neiderman was arrested after his vehicle drove down an old logging road and got stuck in a swamp.

Prior to that, police had tried to stop his vehicle near the village of Ingram for a traffic violation and had fled from an officer earlier that night. The vehicle took off from the traffic stop and led officers on a 26-mile, high-speed chase through the back roads of northeast Rusk County.

On Wednesday, June 5, 2019 the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office attempted a traffic stop near the Village of Ingram for a traffic violation and prior Fleeing from an Officer earlier in the night. The driver of the vehicle took off and led the Sheriff’s Office on a 26 mile high speed chase through the back roads of northeastern Rusk County. 

There were no injuries related to the chase and no damage to police vehicles.
