The annual Christmas for Kids gift drive is underway, with donation trees at KJ’s Fresh Market, Ohde Pharmacy, Hope & Anchor Coffeehouse, all in Chetek, and Barney’s Meats, in Weyerhaeuser.

The tags on the trees list gifts to donate to area children. Purchase the gift and return it to the store where the tag was found.

There will not be a fundraising event this year due to the pandemic.

This may be the last year the Chetek Community Club organizes Christmas for Kids, said Tammy Lenbom, with the organization, who hopes another group or organization will step forward to continue the gift drive.
