Area Boy Scout troops are conducting the annual Scouting for Food drive to collect donations for area food shelves.

On Saturday, April 10, Boy Scout troops will distribute bags on doors, in which people can donate items. The scouts will return on Saturday, April 17, to pick up the bags of items.

Needed items at the food shelves include personal care items, feminine pads, tampons, hand soap, toilet paper, toothpaste and toothbrushes, laundry soap, dish soap. Needed food items include sugar, flour, ravioli, basic canned vegetables and canned fruit, cookies and crackers.
