Real estate taxes that had been postponed in 2020 are due on or before Saturday, July 31. All Barron County property taxes, excluding those to the City of Rice Lake, must be paid to the Barron County Treasurer (City of Rice Lake property taxes must be paid to the Rice Lake City Clerk’s Office).

County tax payments can be made online (www.barroncountywi.gov), in person or via mail. Payments may also be dropped off at a dropbox at the Barron County Government Center’s main entrance on Monroe Avenue. If mailing, include a self-addressed and stamped envelope if you want a receipt.

Payment options, tax amounts and payment status can be found at the county website. Click on the “Tax Data” tab to pay online or with an e-check (additional fees apply).

Call 715-537-6280 if you have questions.
