Calhoun Memorial Library is launching a new program: Brown Baggin’ It.

The library will host informative and entertaining speakers on the second Tuesday of the month from noon until 1 p.m. The first Brown Baggin’ It will be on Tuesday, Nov. 12. The public is encouraged to bring their lunch along. The library will supply beverages and dessert.

The first speaker will be Chris Hagen, outreach coordinator for Aging & Disability Resource Center of Barron, Rusk & Washburn Counties. Hagen will share “Low Vision Information.” She will talk about what help is available for people with vision loss, present coping strategies and skills, and highlight devices that can help keep people independent and productive.

Calhoun Memorial Library is located at 321 Moore St.; look for the big bell on the front lawn. For more information, call the library at 715-924-3195.
