In response to the tornado that occurred throughout several counties in the area on May 16, 2017, Living Water Lutheran Church in Cameron and Camp Noah are partnering to offer a free day camp. The camp will be run by certified staff from Immanuel Lutheran Church, located in Eden Prairie, Minn.

Camp Noah is a national preparedness and resiliency program for children and communities that have been impacted by disaster and trauma. It is a five-day day camp for elementary-age children. Using a curriculum designed to help children process their disaster or trauma experience through creative activities and play, Camp Noah provides a safe and caring environment where children build resiliency skills within the familiarity of their own communities.

Camp is scheduled at 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. daily, from Monday, June 18, through Friday, June 22, at Living Water Lutheran Church, 411 N. First St., Cameron. To register your child for Camp Noah, visit https://campscui.active.com/orgs/CampNoah#/selectSessions/2425102.

For more information, call Julie Emerson, site coordinator, at 715-651-2299 or the Camp Noah office at 800-987-0061, or email camp.noah@lssmn.org.
