According to the police log, a vehicle fire was reported on Banks St. in Chetek on Thursday, June 16 around 8:30 a.m. The cause was not readily clear. Both the Chetek Fire Department and the Chetek Police Department were on the scene. Pictured above is Chief Ron Ambrozaitis approaching the vehicle with a fire extinguisher after he managed to prop open the driver side door.
