This metal shed caught fire Tuesday morning, Feb. 16. The shed and all the contents inside were destroyed by the blaze. Chetek Fire Department responded. The cause was not immediately known. There were no injuries.

A metal shed in rural Chetek was destroyed in a fire Tuesday morning, Feb. 16. The fire was reported just before 7 a.m. in the 400 block of 25-1/2 Street in Dovre Township.

Chetek Fire Chief Ryan Olson said the shed was an entire loss, as well as the contents inside, which included a vehicle. There were no injuries.

Olson said a neighbor on the other side of the street saw the fire and reported it. Ten firefighters responded and used about 6,000 gallons of water on the fire.

Chetek Fire Department cleared the scene at 8:36 a.m. The cause of the fire was not known as of Tuesday. Property owner information was not immediately available.
