Reading what Dr. Gregory Poland of Mayo Clinic said about Ivermectin in last week’s Chetek Alert left me stunned. Then appalled. How in the world can it be that many COVID-19 patients and potential patients are better informed about a clinically indicated effective treatment than a Mayo Clinic doctor?

World renowned physician and COVID-19 expert Dr. Peter McCullough has actually used the word malfeasance when calling out medical professionals who promulgate false COVID-19 information, including false information about Ivermectin. By using that word I believe it’s clear he suspects that in some cases we are seeing not just misinformation, but disinformation.

Here is what last week’s article said about Ivermectin: “[Dr. Gregory Poland] dismissed any notion of alternative treatments for COVID-19, such as Ivermectin. ‘It just doesn’t work,’ said Poland.”

Whether he made it knowingly or unknowingly, Dr. Poland’s statement is categorically false. I urge readers to go to c19ivermectin.com and ivmmeta.com to review the Ivermectin studies. Overall these studies came back so positive, medical statisticians estimated the probability that Ivermectin is ineffective to be 1 in 1 trillion! For additional Ivermectin information go to the American Journal of Therapeutics website and search for these recent articles: “Review of the Emerging Evidence Demonstrating the Efficacy of Ivermectin” and “Ivermectin for Prevention and Treatment of COVID-19 Infection.”

And just how effective has Ivermectin been shown to be?  In 44 peer-reviewed studies, 86 percent improvement when used prophylactically and 70 percent patient improvement when used as early treatment.

So how can there be such disparity when it comes to information about Ivermectin? Dr. McCullough recently said something disturbing, but also illuminating, about all things COVID-19, something that can definitely be applied to Ivermectin. He said that often the CDC, NIH, FDA and others have NOT followed the science and therefore have misled the American people.

Big Pharma has an enormous financial incentive to convince the public of a vaccine-only solution to COVID-19. So when considering Ivermectin, given the choice between trusting those who have questionable ties to Big Pharma and those who don’t (Dr. Peter McCullough, Dr. Ryan Cole, Dr. Pierre Kory, etc.), I choose those who don’t.
