Reader says many voters are ill informed about
political candidates:
Our great country is being decimated by open borders that allow foreigners from over 150 countries to enter illegally and bring many bad things with them. This is turning our country into a cesspool with drugs, terrorists and gangs that do what they want. This is caused by our elected officials not doing their duty. These officials are spending our tax dollars trying to find a loophole where they can crucify a former president with falsified evidence.
The reason for their hate is he showed them all how to get things done without spending months debating an issue before bringing it to a vote that once rejected, would result in the same debate which has proven to be a waste of time. These worthless politicians have so much hate they are neglecting serious issues that are degrading our country.
I would like to see an answer to why the democratic party allowed the rioters to loot, burn, and destroy without putting a stop to it. They are also not confining criminals after a crime was commited and sometimes not even charging them and making them pay bail. What is their ultimate goal, idolizing criminals? Is this why our historical statues were destroyed or is it that they want to change our history? One step closer to socialism? As of late, our country is being looked upon by foreign countries as being weak; why do you think this is happening? Could the problem be a lack of strong political leadership?
It is time for a constitution change that prevents the use of tax money to buy votes with giveaway programs that do not solve problems or keep the budget balanced.
As of late, some voters do not know what politician of their choice will work for them. They instead choose to vote strictly based on political affiliation and do not care what their choice will do for their fellow man or country. A good example of this is where we are today with the economy. These voters either are ill informed or just don’t care. This is another reason for term limits, it would require voters be informed of their candidates and what the candidates are going to work towards, instead of another “same ol, same ol” half-informed vote. How can you say “This is my country” when you do nothing to keep it strong with an educated vote?
I question why there are so many that serve this country proudly when there are so many that serve this country proudly when there are so many voters that simply don’t care.
