DeeAnne “Sue” Anderson

DeeAnne “Sue” Anderson, 68, of Chetek, Wis., passed away on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019, at her home in Chetek. Sue was born on Feb. 11, 1951, in Chippewa Falls, Wis., the daughter of Thaine and Vera (Madison) Phillips. 

Sue graduated from New Auburn High School in 1969 and then attended Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College in Rice Lake, Wis., for data processing. She married Greg Anderson and to this union, three sons were born. She was employed at Walter’s Brewery after school and worked as a cook at Chetek Cafe for many years before moving to Oconomowoc, Wis., where she worked as a baker for 15 years. She then moved to Eau Claire, Wis., and worked at Hutchinson Technology until retiring. She absolutely loved the Green Bay Packers and her dog, Sasha.

She leaves to celebrate her memory her sons, Tony Anderson (Desi Belding), of Barron, Wis., and Phil (Amanda) Anderson, of Chetek; seven grandchildren; sister Minerva (Lynn) Barnhart, of New Richmond, Wis.; and other family and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son Gaylan Anderson and brothers Dale and Galen Phillips.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

The Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Chetek has been entrusted with arrangements.
