Marilyn H. Ross

Marilyn H. Ross, 84, of St. Louis Park, Minn., formerly of Chetek, Wis., passed away on Monday, Dec. 23, 2019.

Marilyn was a member of the Benilde St. Margaret’s High School Women’s Club and a longtime Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church parishioner in St. Louis Park. John and Marilyn moved in 2000 to Chetek. They were members of St. Boniface Catholic Church, and enjoyed their years in Chetek, prior to returning to St. Louis Park three years ago.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, John Ross; children Therese Larsen (Jim), of Chetek, Peggy DeVaan (Gary), Kathleen Pinedo (Augie), Mary Russett (Thomas), Jacqueline Christenson (Todd), Thomas Ross (Lori) and Michael Ross (Lisa); 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother Michael Roles (Ellen); brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law David and Shirley Ross and Jeanne Roles; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Magdalen Roles; brother Jim Roles; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Kathryn and Richard Gustafson.

A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 3, 2020, at the Church of Our Lady of Grace, 5071 Eden Ave., Edina, Minn. Visitation will be at 5–7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2, at Gearty-Delmore – St. Louis Park Chapel, 3960 Wooddale Ave. S., St. Louis Park, and on Jan. 3 at church one hour prior to Mass. Private interment will take place at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Maple Grove, Minn.
