Up-and-coming hunters can sign up for a hunter education class, sponsored by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, that will take place at the Chetek-Weyerhaeuser Middle School cafeteria.

It is roughly a two-week course and will be held Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7–9 p.m. on the following dates: Sept. 9, 10, 12, 16, 17 and 23. 

A registration fee of $10 will be charged on the first night. The course is limited to the first 25 individuals who sign up. All participants will need their DNR identification number.
