A virtual meeting to discuss the Wisconsin Walleye Management Plan will be held for residents of Barron, Burnett, Polk, Rusk, Sawyer and Washburn counties at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20.

The walleye management plan is a guide for goals and strategies for management of the fish statewide. The updating process includes a review of the current plan, data and analysis of current trends and public input.

The Department of Natural Resources is seeking public input for stocking priorities, regulation acceptance and the allocation of resources.

Anyone willing to participate in the virtual meeting should call 715-634-7429 or email Max.wolter@wisconsin.gov. Pre-registration is required.
