With the nine-day gun deer season winding down and the muzzleloader and bowhunting/crossbow seasons still open, deer hunters are reminded that the Chetek Lions Club is sponsoring three local deer hide collection sites.

Deer hides can be dropped off at Horton’s Hardware on Dallas Street, Kwik Trip (in the back of the building) on Second Street and Bridge Stop BP on CTH I.

The Chetek Lions collected 147 donated deer hides last year and the Wisconsin Lions Camp collected a total of 20,000 statewide.
