As fall colors approach their peak, anyone interested in viewing the colors should monitor live updates on the Wisconsin Department of Tourism’s Fall Color Report, which launched this past week on www.travelwisconsin.com.

Barron County is currently at 90 percent out of 100, according to the Fall Color Report and colors are estimated to peak this week in Barron County, as well as several other surrounding counties.

Fall foliage fans interested in tracking the state’s fall color as it evolves over the next several weeks can access the report from their desktop, as well as their smartphone and tablet, to make travel decisions on the go.

More than 100 fall color reporters throughout the state provide updates for all 72 counties, making the Travel Wisconsin Fall Color Report the most timely and comprehensive report available. It is updated “virtually live,” so the status of an area is updated as conditions change.
