Lake Chetek will be the host-site for the National Straightline Snowmobile Racing circuit on Saturday, Jan. 30, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. This is an additional sanctioned race that will take place this year in Chetek, along with the NSSR Radar Run that will take place during Chetek’s annual Winter Fest in February.

“Winter Fest is still happening, this is just an additional race event. There will be a fun run for the public to compete in just like there is at Winter Fest,” stated event organizer Rob Licht.

The event will be held on the ice of Lake Chetek in front of the Chetek City Beach, located on Lakeview Drive. Cost is $5 for adults. Parking will be available on the ice as well as on land by the Chetek beach pavilion.

There will be concessions and a beer tent.
